Reicon Group, LLC was established in 1998 as a marine and heavy construction contractor serving the New York metropolitan area. Since then, the company has grown its capabilities, workforce and equipment while remaining focused on the demanding conditions of marine and waterfront construction.
From its Staten Island headquarters, Reicon has developed extensive experience performing work for public agencies, commercial clients and private owners throughout New York, New Jersey and the surrounding region. The company's work has ranged from new marine construction to major rehabilitation programs, emergency and on-call repairs, commercial diving and complex waterfront infrastructure projects.
People, Equipment and Field Knowledge
A central part of Reicon's growth has been the development of its own experienced field workforce. Today, Reicon employs multiple construction diving crews and pile-driving/marine construction crews, supported by experienced superintendents and foremen with decades of marine construction knowledge.
Reicon is a full union contractor, with skilled dockbuilders, commercial hardhat divers, operating engineers and laborers working together to perform specialized marine construction both above and below the waterline.
Reicon is a member in good standing of the General Contractors Association of New York (GCANY) and the Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey (ACCNJ).
Trusted Experience for Agencies and Authorities
Throughout its history, Reicon has worked extensively with New York, New Jersey and New York City agencies and authorities, completing on-call marine repair contracts, diving and underwater repair projects, and major marine construction and rehabilitation programs. That experience continues today on significant public waterfront infrastructure projects throughout the region.
From Delaware to Maine
Reicon's capabilities extend beyond New York Harbor. Through its relationship with sister company BTT Marine Construction in Boston, Reicon has access to additional marine construction resources and equipment serving the Northeast.
Together, Reicon and BTT own and operate nine barge- and land-based pile-driving rigs, providing the equipment and field resources necessary to respond to marine construction needs from Delaware to Maine.
Since its founding, Reicon has remained focused on the same core business: building, repairing and maintaining the marine infrastructure that supports the region's waterfront.
